Robert Plant and Alison Krauss walked away the big winners at the Grammys with five trophies, including Album of the Year. Lil Wayne won rap album of the year, best rap solo performance, rap song, and rap/sung collaboration. Coldplay won 3 awards including song of the year, best pop performance by a duo or group with vocals, and best rock album. The rock award elicited the comment from frontman Chris Martin, “We’re not, of course, the heaviest of rock bands — you may have noticed. We’re kind of the limestone of rock bands.
