Coachella 2009 lineup has been announced at coachella.com and this year’s headliners are … Paul McCartney, The Killers, The Cure! The three day festival in Indio, CA is April 17th - 19th and will also feature Amy Winehouse, Franz Ferdinand, Morrissey, My Bloody Valentine … as well as some familiar Alice artist like Paolo Nutini & Peter Bjorn and John. Before this Sunday’s Super Bowl 43 kicks off, viewers will be treated to a new song by The Smashing Pumpkins in an ad for Hyundai’s new Genesis Coupe. U2, Rihanna and Kid Rock have been added the list of Grammy Awards performers. Already slated to perform on the February 8 CBS braodcast are Coldplay, Jennifer Hudson, the Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, T.I. with Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Radiohead, Paul McCartney with Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl on drums, Wayne, Tip, Kanye West and Jay-Z performing “Swagga Like Us” and Kenny Chesney. Some of the award presenters include Duffy, Josh Groban, Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jack Black and “Mentalist” star Simon Baker.
